Snow in June - A Large Mound of Snow Near Independence Pass, Colorado
Snow in June - A Large Mound of Snow Near Independence Pass (June 23, 2007)
My friends and I pulled over along the road west of
Independence Pass in Colorado, to photograph a cascading waterfall. The waterfall was nice, but I was actually more interested in the large mound of snow about 50 yards away. Snow in June, baby! How awesome! :)
If my standing near the higher edges of the snow mound didn't help with perspective,
I had my friend Kansas Kelly stand in front.
At one point, I became a little bored and kicked the snow.
I felt bad to think I may have speedened up the process of the snow melting, but it was fun. ;)
